i'm going to the track tonight and i was wondering since i haven't been to the track yet with drag radials what i should lauch my car at. they at 305/35 18 nitto dr's. and i'm supercharged but only running 350whp and 380wtq. thanks

i normally launch on the trans brake at 3200

4000, slide the clutch out. Dont drop it. If it bogs, go higher, it spins, go lower

3500 rpm with a quick slip of the clutch seems to work best for me.

How rough is it on a clutch to slip it at 4k rpms?

All i can tell you is that i've done it many of times with the juice, on the stock clutch, and have been fine so far. That's with 528 rwtq too! The quicker the slip the better.

so have i been doing it wrong by dumping the clutch at 4k? i only have a K&N FIPK, C&L plenum, and a catted xpipe with 275/50/17 mickey T's.

Does it hook? If so ur good. I dump the clutch at 5k on motor and 4k on spray
