If I do a rebuild are there any kits on the market I can buy that would be all the forged internals together that I would need for my build? If so can you guys give me some info on some good ones? And Mustang GT3 Im having a hard time about which one to supercharge but Im thinking I want my old one to have some fun to and maybe S/C the 10 Later maybe next year! It would be fun to have two boosted Stangs
kenne bell's or whipple are twin screw blowers. If you intercool a twin screw, you should be safe at about 400 rwhp. Those types of s/c's hit hard on the motor and put more stress on the stock engine parts compared to a centri like a vortech/procharger. If you want more hp, then it would be a good idea to get forged internals, yes.

If you want to be sure on the condition of your motor and cant check it yourself, take it to a reputable mechanic to perform some tests such as compression, leaks, wear/tear. As stated, if you have a tuner who knows what he's doing then 425-430 rwhp is fine on a full bolt on 2v with a centri, and 400 rwhp is safe for a twinscrew.

mmr racing has good and affordable short blocks that should suite your needs. they even have lay-a-way

thanks, yup many people have been surprised by my car for being a 2v. in those videos its making about 425 rwhp. stock heads, cams, tranny, motor. just bolt ons and the v2.

I mainly posted the vids so people can see im not just all talk but actually have gotten the most out of s/c'ing my 2000 Gt. Took lots of trial and error, but the forumla i posted had GREAT SUCCESS.

i would say avexhype is pointing you in the right direction!!!

If you go with the KB make sure you intercool from the start. You will regret it if you dont. Oh and you will want more than that small amount of boost in short time. One thing about this hobby is we always want more, lol.

good luck!!!!!

If I was you I would just slap a blower on you 01 , That 2010 really dont need a supercharger IMPO , My uncle brought one home from work and let me let loose on it and that suspension/TQ combo just gave me wood. But if you do decide to get that bad *** new mustang blown you should get the new Ford racing S/C , Have a dealer install it and keep the warranty. Either way you have two nice rides.
