But he does travel to tune as well. But that seems a bit high to me. Id just go to a local dyno day and do 2 runs with wideband to check your a/f ratio and if that is where its supposed to be, then dont worry about it for right now. But if its over 11.8, id get it tuned.
thanks for the suggestion! My girlfriend's family is down there, so it's not out of the question. I think for now I'll try to catch a free or really cheap dyno run to check the a/f ratio like you said.

welcome to the KB family!!

Go with option 4 and don't look back. If that shop is as good as they claim it is WELL worth the money to have it running top notch. Say goodbye to the mule and welcome the bronco!!!!

so you just dropped almost $6k on a blower set-up that we all are drooling over, but you wont spend another $450 to ensure it's safety and probably get a few more hp out of it? Somebody tell me how this makes sense....

I mean congrats, but get either get the $#%$* tune or give your KB to one of us who will truly appreciate it...

yeah I think you've convinced me. I just hate spending when I really don't have to (government should be like me ). In the long run I have to do it anyways so why not now... it would be good to get some solid numbers on it too.
