Default For those who have an O/R mid pipe...

How did you tune out your o2 sensors?

I'm getting my O/R X pipe made today, and it is going to kill me to have a check engine light on.

I have an sct x3, will that tune them out? Should I get MIL eliminators?

You can turn off your o2's with your tuner

yes the sct will do it just have your local tuner turn off the rear sensors and you should be good to go

Well I'm not sure this will help you but I deleted my rear O2 sensors and had my tuner turn them off.

Strangely enough, my CEL didn't come on for months after I put my midpipe on. It did eventually though. I bought a sniper tuner and disabled them with that.

[QUOTE=stangit9090;6413792]How did you tune out your o2 sensors?

Who is making it???

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy one?

Not being a smart ***, just curious.

A good, well equipped (as in NOT Midas, unless you get lucky), muffler shop can make one up for the same or less than you can buy one.

We have an excellent shop here, Rick's Muffler Shop, that made up and installed my catback--with SS Magnaflows--for $325. Though I think being right up the street from Daytona Beach makes this sort of shop more common...

There's a local muffler shop here in my town that could make them, but they didnt have the right flanges in today.

I found a BBK pipe on craigslist for $100 that looks new. I'm getting it tomorrow.

I used the MIL eliminators. but if you have a tuner there is no need to spend and extra $100 bucks for the eliminators.

You can use your tuner or mil elims, your choice.
