Default Underdrive pullies

Im considering buying steeda underdrive pullies for my 04 GT. Im a little weary because I have had problems with udp in the past with older stlye stangs. Should I be conderned or just buy them ? Also what kind of hp can I expect ?

Thanks

if you plan on charging in the near future, dont bother. If you want to spend a few hundred on roughly 5 hp, go for it. I havent heard of anyone having charging problems on new edges with steeda pulleys.

UDPs do not add any HP, they only free up a few to be used at the rear wheels instead of driving the water pump and generator...

they're kind of worthless in my opinion. I would personally save for gears+tuner, a TB/PL combo or LT's. You can atleast feel the difference in those mods and arn't "that" expensive either.

Unless you found a hell of a deal on the UDP's, i wouldn't buy'em.

I'm actually a beleiver in this mod. Before my UDP's, my bro would pull on me ever so slightly in 3rd or 4th...every time! Afterwards, we were dead even in 3rd and 4th. We ran several times with the same outcome.

You won't actually feel them, but they will help on the high end a little.

I guess a lot depends on what other mods you have done. I'm guessing you haven't done a lot. If that is true I would save up for either gears, tuner, CAI or exhaust.
