I know its not my section but I was wondering if any of you guys know of a good shop for gears/posi install in or around Rhode Island. I've been quoted $900 and $1000 so far and I'm looking for some place a little more reasonable. Thanks.

Try Shanes Auto on Tiogue Ave in West Warwick. He did my gear install and is a big mustang guy. Was a ford tech then went out on his own.

if you buy the gears install kit and oil it can be done for 250
thats what i have payed for mine and a few dozen 5k launches later still zero problems
it would be in southern ma and he will stand by his work
he builds most of factory five's rearend's pm me you number and i can set you up with him

I bought the gears and he only charged me $100 to install them.

OKay well I need gears and posi install which shouldnt be much more than a regular gear install but i will have everything needed all he has to do is install it. Cobradreamer do you have a shop name and number I can call? And bry I'll definitely give that shop a call thanks alot guys.

the guy works out of mpe in whitman but he dosent work there
he rents a bay there and he need a spot for his 150k tool box lol

Had my 4.10's done at DezRacing, Seekonk, MA.

I paid $500 and that included the FRPP gears, gear oil and installation.

So it would probably cost like $300 for installation there...or around that. I'll definitely look into all these places and try and get some quotes. Thanks again.
