any ideas on this problem?..btw hello, jessie here from oregon..2002 mustang gt coupe (mineral grey) and 2000 grand prix gtp (with mods)

so ive recently picked up a 2002 gt coupe from my boss...car has 31k miles on it paracing coilover front end (pro install), sub frame connectors...supposedly a cam but im not so sure about that one yet, and the rear end has also had some work done to it(not sure what there either), it has a catted h pipe that doesnt seem stock but could be...i dont know what the stock settup looks like honestly, were finishing up the cat back in the shop this week (i work at a mandrel bending shop)....i havnt even had a chance to drive it myself yet because the car just came out of a 4 year storage so we changed plugs, wires, engine and trans fluids, put some fresh gas in and tried starting it...nothin...eventually changing the fuel filter and learning to prime it we got it started but it will die randomly at idle, wants to die out when you give it too much fuel while driving, and the fuel rail loses pressure again after you shut it off...anyway heres a few pics...o yah it has front bumper going on this week and paint to match next week

the first thing you should know is your car has 2 cams not one, so if it does have an aftermarket cam, it has cams.

It is a single overhead cam engine, however it has two heads and therefore two cams...

Well welcome aboard and make yourself at home. It looks like you've got yourself a nice car in need of a little TLC.
