lulz!

good un.

the stock pistons and rods in the 2v GTs can only handle ~450whp, but thats not to say you can run 450 and it not blow up, its all in the tune, a safepoint seems to be ~420 or ~430.

buy a supercharger, run low boost, and when it comes time for big power you can build a shortblock and just buy a new headunit for ~$1000 that will let you efficently run more boost.

Yea 400 is about the max. our pistons and rods dont hold up very well.
yea just go to the hardware store and get some silicone and plastic plugs
its only like $40 bucks? but your 17 like me so you'd be refilling all the damn time lol

If it's numbers you're concerned with, start with the longblock, then go to your power adder and supporting systems. If I were to ever do this again, I would have never bought the Supercharger first. I went from only wanting 400 to making 600 in a matter of one blown stock engine and too much time on my hands.

Oh so true^^! If you know you are going to pass the 400-450rw point, start off by building/buying a engine. Then put the s/c / turbo on it.

i would like to pass the 400 mark but im all talk at this point, i know ill be gettin up there but this is my first car with some ***** in it and i dont drag...yet, so to say im definitly goin over 400 is iffy, by the time i do that i could be onto a cobra or mach. and what if i replace the rods and such is that even worth it, neveer realize it was so cheap to refill a bottle, but still not my thing. worst of all i just found out my company lost a big contract and there is a slim chance i could be laid off within the month, not for sure but still could be a major set back thanks for the tips on the plugs tho i will probably be doing that soon.i am also missing one of the black strips above my headlight but i am going to replace them soon will the new lights come with that piece

thanks again for putting up with and answering most of my ridiculously stupid questions

I hit the exhaust first, love the sound, then the throttle body, intake, supercharger and my next step is the nitrous, haven't gotten around to putting that on yet?

Jazzer the more i drive my car, the more i agree with you. That's why this week I'll be installing my lower and upper control arms, lowering springs, subframe connectors, panhard bar and i'll be redoing all my bushings.
