Chambered or not I didn't expect it to sound like crap. Maybe it is the x. I'm hoping to run down someone locally with an x to hear theirs and compare it.

I just want a deep rumble without all the clapping rattling sound. Honestly the sound of the exhaust isn't bad it's just that rattly sound I can't stand.

This isn't my car but this is pretty much what it sounds like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jotf3QfpTMU

From what I have heard/read if you want the "deep rumble" you need to go with an h pipe. That is more muscle car sounding.

Yep! That's a Bassani for you! LOL! When you mix it with Flows or any chambered muffler, that's what you will get, that annoying rasp at 2000rpm. Ir an it on my car for a few months. I got tired of the obnoxious rasp and put back on my BBK catted H: quieter and better sounding, IMO. I have a catted Magnaflow X on my stock Mustang and it sound good. Plus I think the quality and fitment is better than the Bassani X. Just my .02.

Wow, i checked out all the oval muffler type catbacks like the magnaflow and the borla(regulars) and they were all chambered...thought that you werent supposed to use chambered mufflers with turbos but hellion went with bassani exhaust for their exhaust of choice. Thats odd.

your problem is the o/r x pipe. i had the same problem. ditch the o/r x and get a catted h. Flowmaster and macs are about the only exhaust I love the sound of with an o/r h pipe. DO NOT GET MAGNAFLOW. magnaflow sounds like poop with an o/r pipe. Trust me I have been there.
