exhaust help please

Default exhaust help please

i have bbk longtubes and off road h, with flows
i have 2.5in piping on the catback but i want to make it sound a little cleaner.
does the size piping help?
can i just weld in mufflers or should i get new catback.

what kind?

You can weld new mufflers in.

You can weld mufflers in, but if you find something you like, i'd get it in a catback. Stay with 2.5 inch as well.

The o/r h is what's making it sound rough. Have some cats welded in. You could also go with a straight through muffler. They have a deep, smooth, cleaner sound...especially with a catted pipe.
