GT500 motor
Ok I have been waiting on one to hit the sales block and it did today for $8500 with 6000k miles on the motor with the TR6060 which I dont want as I would like to use the T56. Now it has all the harnesses but missing the CPU. Not to worry as I can get that. It seems that EVERYTHING on this beast is electronic thus the need for a control pack. Now I am starting to wonder if I need to do a complete wire harness swap to make this work of just the engine harness aka controls pack.
Yeah I know about the 5.4l height problem but I think that can be addressed with a different hood.
Ohh how I love electrical work NOT!!!

$8500 would be a good down payment on a used GT500 - the complete car.
I just think it's gonna be wayyyy too frustrating trying to get everything to work right, if you're up for the challenge - Good luck!
Let us know how it turns out.

everything is nose heavy in these cars....mod motors are heavy as hell, no joke...go look up the weight of your 2v 4.6 and then go look up the weight of a 4v 5.4, then compare both to a 302 or a 351

its not going to be any worse than tossing in an iron block 5.4 from an f150. the shelby blocks are aluminum i wanna say, so if anything its probobly the same weight(with the blower).
