Yeah, I already have the MIL's, found them on ebay for $39.00. I guess I could sell the pipe but i'm having a hard time finding a shorty pipe and long tube headers that I would be able to afford. Which one would be better, shorty x or shorty h pipe? And what about a shorty pipe with highflow cats? I just don't know what to do now.

Oh, and this thread kind of went way off topic but that's cool. Wanted some pointers and some do's and don'ts on the tough task of changing headers but I like hearing ideas that other people have.

paid 500 for my long tubes and offroad h pipe. but if u must keep the shorties, they are not easy. i put my longtubes on from the bottom by removing the k-member. had access to a full shop and lift, but still took about 12 hours.

keep the shorties, you will lose like 2-4 hp peak over the LT but you will have a tad more low end.
peak HP isnt the only number on a dyno graph

shorties are perfectly fine

*oh yea*
the funny thing is, kenne bell doesnt even recommed LT's

Now I feel a little bit better about the shortys. I'm not doing a fully modded mustang, maybe 6-7 things at the most. Maybe one day I will go full out and get a Supercharger and everything else. Might have to wait until tax season next year for that.
