Default Need idea of what bodywork might cost.

To make a long story short my side scoops were stolen off my car and I'm afraid to put them back on since apparently most mustangs in this town have been hit. I'm wanting to have the scoops deleted and have that area just blended in with the car. I'm guessing it's gonna involve metal work and painting. Anybody had this done? Do you have an idea what it will cost?

both sides, welded and smoothed over the scoop area plus paint and paint blending with the doors/trunk area, id say 2k at least if you get it done right, but any body shop will give you a free estimate if you go there.

I mean macco could do it for 6-800. I doubt any professional shop would even touch it for under a grand around me. Labor to weld over the quarter holes and smooth it out will be a ton, plus paint.

i had my whole car debaged for 300 per panel, at a very reputable shop ...trunk debadged, keyhole filled, holes filled, fender holes filled...$300 per panel

just because its expensive does not mean its better work, find a good reputable shop that doesnt charge an arm and a leg...i got a quote for 3200 for some repair works, got it done for 1600 at a different shop and it came out perfect
