Default SVE Wheels-Pics Please

I have been looking for wheels, either silver or chrome FR's or anthracite or chrome SVE wheels.

Here are the 18" chrome SVE's. They looks so clean on that blue Cobra: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/SVE-1007BBC

My problem is my cheapness and my indecisiveness. I want 18's and after seeing the post for the Hancook's than was posted, because 18's can be had for pretty reasonable. OEwheelsllc.com offers silver FR500's for 439.00 I believe, which is pretty cheap. On the other hand, 17's would be fine too but the only 17's in FR's are AM or 50resto.com.

I am stressing myself out for what to do here. I want the widest rear tire possible, which is why I am leaning towards 17's because I could run Summitomo HTRZ's 315 rear and 245 front. I have more options with 17's tire wise, but for some reasons 18" FR500's are cheaper from oewheelsllc.com than 17's from other sources.

Now coming to the SVE's. I really like the chrome 18" SVE's. They looks so so good on the Cobra on 50restos web sight. But they are pretty spendy.

What do I do here guys. I am seriously confused. I want the cheapest possible way to get some new wheels and tires, not regardless of size, but nearly regardless. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Jumping up to 18s will add rotating mass and slow you down. They do look like **** however. Those SVE wheels simply look like 10th anniversary cobra wheels.

Ultimately its you $$ and your car, so you need to decide what to do

lol

Don't count on it, bub.....that's a once in a decade, blowout deal and they're almost sold out. You won't find regularly priced 18s in those sizes for less than $800....ever.

I know it's up to me ultimately. Just the fact that tires are so darn expensive for 18's. Not really worried about speed difference between 17-18's. Why do 17's have to be so much from AM and 50resto!?

learn from me...2500 for wheels and tires, 18 black chrome fr 500s running T1Rs 275 in front 295 in back. If i had know all tires where so friggin expensive i woulda gotten 17s and cut that in half, not to mention i lost around .4tenths in the quarter....no joke. Bolted up new tires ran a best of 13.85x bolted up bald stockies ran a best 13.39 and a ton of 13.4x

Right, tires are just so expensive for 18" wheels. The more I look at Mustangmann00's car, the more I think I do want my original idea of 17" silver FR500's. I think that is what I will go with sooner or later. Does anyone know some place to get those cheaper than what AM and 50resto sells them for? Also, for Nittos and/or Summitomo's, is AM my best bet for the best bargain?

If you like the look of the dd 10th annies, go with OE Wheels 10th Anniversary wheels. They look better in my opinion...more like the originals and you can have 4 in anthracite for $420 and then tires arent soooo expensive. Those wheels would be going on my car if i decide to keep it.

I would probably go with chrome if I got the SVE's. I am not the biggest fan of Anthracite for some reason. I think 17" SVE's dont look as sinister as 17" FR's. The 18" SVE's however, wow, so hot.

It looks to me like where the spokes meet the lip, they jut inwards a little. Am I just seeing things? What's the difference between the two sites? For some reason, I like the ones better on resto. They look more like the higher end wheels such as HRE, BC, and Billet Specialties. Well, the ones on the link I posed of the Cobra do IMHO.
