Default Anyone Tried These???

http://www.jegs.com/i/Mickey-Thompson/672/3743/10002/-1 Thinking of buying these so I dont have to buy 2 more wheels then slicks for 15 inch rim.. Let me no if this is bad or good idea?

Yep, its basically a weekend car..Mainly a track car.. IMO which I dont know if it make sense or not..This being a 17 in. tire means it doesnt have very much sidewall to be a slick/street tire..Which in terms its not going to be a very good tire..Just looking for some opinions on what people think about the idea...

i run et streets but not for dd
i cant say much for the size you are looking at
but i run the same tire in the 16" version i love them
and was cutting 1.8's on a full stock suspension
but for driving on the roads the only time that happend was when i wanted to run the street class and it involved a 20 mile drive and then 3 back to back runs
also they are a tube style tire

If you have stock wheels, y not go with some Nitto 555R Drag Radials? I have heard good things about them. Most likely what I will be throwing on once I get my wheels.

Good things?? What that you can daily drive em? Trust me they are crap at the track!!

+1 you have to damn near burn em off to get em to hook. M/t will snap your neck when you launch.

Im running fr's on my car now 17*9's and 17*10.5's with 315 nitto drag radials and they just dont cut it for me..I just upgraded my rearend to 31 spline moser axles, ford racing locker with carbon discs, and welded axle tubes.

Good to up upgrade but those Nitto's will never break an axle
Get some M/T D/R's and call it a day
