Thanks all for the feedback. I was thinking that 3k was alittle high too. But if I could do a motor swap for a few thousand now a have 5 to 6 k invested with a new motor. I think I will offer 2k and see if he wants to sell. If not I will keep looking for a good deal. Her dream car is the 93 Yellow LX 5.0 convertible. So I am looking for one of those too.

Good luck finding a Yellow 93 vert for 3K. I know there out there but there beat to hell with high miles.

Is this fixable? or would it make more sense to replace the motor? The rest of the car is in good shape. Any help would be great! Brad
I've heard people say "You buy used, your're buying someone else's mistake." Buy the best setup you can afford and do the best you can with what you've got. Good luck on your search.
