Default need advice real quik....

Watup stangers! I need some quality assurance. I talked to HOSS302 and I took his word for it although if ppl agree with him, I'd feel better. I'm sure he knows what he's talking about, don't get me wrong but yea, assurance!!

Will my 98 gt trans(t-45) fit on a 04 gt engine?
Plz give me all the info you have on this. For example, will the t-45 handle the HP and TQ of the 04gt engine?

HOSS302 said, "94-mid 2001 all use a t45 tranny. mid 01-present use a t3650"
and...
"Yea it will all work. You can hook up your t45 tranny to that motor no problem. The only hickup may be the bellhousing. I am pretty sure everything will swap over though."

thanks

if i remember correctly the out put shaft on the t-45 has a different number of splines than the output shaft on the t-3650.

It won't make a difference for him. He's using his stock T-45 and putting in a newer motor.

Everything should work for you fine. I'm almost positive the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same between the two. It wouldn't make sense for them to not be.

dont f up the motor install? other than that its all the same, only difference between the 98 4.6 and the 04 4.6 as far as bolthing it up anyway is its a PI motor, and has the 8 bolt crank, which i beleive only affects clutch and flywheel choice, so just get those right and your golden.

it will fit fine in your car no problems as long as you us your clutch but you dont need anything for the speedo as long as the tranny is going into a car with a factory t45 it will be fine
