Default Should i sell my car?

I love my 2v. Its a solid car. But the thought of a 331 Stroker in a black hatch or LX foxbody with cobra's R and black interior is so awesome. what would you guys do?

i could probably get 8-9,000 out of my car. since it only has 80k miles. and buy a fox for $4000 or so. thats alot of left over money to play with!

but then again, that car would be my only transportation for the next few years since im only 17. could i put a 331 or 347 stroker in my car? im pretty sure i couldnt but the idea is cool

in my experiences i would stick with your car now because a modded motor like a stroker isnt going to be the most reliable car. id stick with the 2valve for reliability.

I would personally live with what you have for now since it will be reliable. Do mods here and there. Start a big project when you can afford it and have a second car.

Money adds up quick when you do a project. If you want to be out of a toy for a while, then sell it, get a cheap dd, and start on the project. But i would just say keep it.

I would just say keep it for the ease and reliability. If you go buy a cheap DD and it craps out on you when the fox is in the middle of the build your screwed.

If your financial life will benefit from it then shoot for it. , But if your looking for a cheaper project then I would def. not mod any car and go for a street bike. But you stated thats your DD so I would stick with what you have , add a modd here and there and when you have another DD turn your 2v into a beast. Im selling mine because my gf is on maternity leave and wont be sure about her position at work when she returns , If I do sell it Im going to save a put a down payment on a 4v next year , but If all goes well with her work and I dont sell it in due time then Ima build a killer 2v. Its all what you want to do and how much money you have to do it.

Plus fox bodies are going up in price for some reason , Check out a 4 cyl fox and drop a 331 stroked bad boy in it.https://mustangforums.com/forum/must...lx-1800-a.html
