I like it... a little loud for me, but it's what you like not everyone else.

Yea, nothing really different to cause the revs to hang with an auto...

yes mine is an automatic and I broke my #1 mustang rule when I bought it. Well, I had the wife drive it yesterday and ensured that she got on the gas a little bit just so I could see how it sounded outside of the car and I do gotta say it really don't sound bad. Maybe it was the sound from inside of the car that drove me nuts. And I also talked to a mechanic yesterday and he said it doesn't matter if it is an auto or 5 speed, a bad or failing ICA valve will make your RPM's hang. I swear, if it's not one thing on this car, its another. Might be selling it in a while if I have to keep replacing **** on it.

umm....bad IAC valve on my car made my rpm fall so quick the car died...not the opposite....clean your IAC before replacing it, its cheaper

i would just drive it how it is...if it really bothers you, do the IAC gasket mod that people do... buy gasket paper, trace IAC onto it, cut the holes in it smaller than the stock IAC holes...if the car wont idle, open the holes a little bit more until it idles and decays how you would like it to

Yeah if I am driving down the highway and let off the gas my RPM's bounce until I put my foot back on the gas. They will fall to about 1000 or below and then rise back up and then fall and then rise. And when they fall it feels like the cars going to die but doesn't.

torqe converter is heavier and wont allow engine to idle down as fast. mine is just like huey 33's. have several other people in the club and theirs will idle down much faster and sounds much better. a flywheel and clutch is much less weight.
