Default Upper Control Arms. Should i buy em?

I was driving down the street last night and some guy pulled up next to me and asked me if i wanted some upper control arms for $100. I went to his house to check em' out and they are powder coated and brand new. should i buy em?

they are MMR and look like these but they are powdercoated in that gray color.

Do you have lowers? Those things will ruin your day if you start nailing corners. They don't have heim ends. I wouldn't get em. Just my 2 cents.

i tried but he wouldnt budge. thats exactly what i offered him. is there anything else that should come with them besides the control arms and the bushings?

i dont have lowers. how will they ruin my day? or should i say what would i break?

Did not know that! Should do lowers first and ditch your quad shocks and you may do fine at the strip and not need uppers

well, the solid bushings in those are obviously much more stiff than factory, which are wobbly and loose to "help" prevent the rear fourlink from binding. By making them rigid, the rear will want to bind alot more, which will make the traction VERY unpredictable in the back under load and turning. Honestly, not worth the risk IMO. Take a peek at the suspension thread jazzer has in his sig.
