Default rear end advise needed.

Well after finding out my trak loc is gone i decided that i would do gears at the same time. I have already pick my gear ratio(and i'm not gona say it cuz that isn't my question) and i'm wondering what are the parts and tools i'll need to do this job and what maybe if you guys have come across some rebuild kits that you liked or didn't like. thanks

Is there any really difference with the carbon clutch pack for the traction loc?

Carbon clutch pack will last longer and have better grip than the standard one. You should just do the 31 spline upgrade while youre in there.

+1 with tj, and i like my setup pretty well. It can hold a good bit of power. As far as doing it yourself, well you better know what your doing because this is very technical how everything goes together unless you get the differential pre-assembled with the gears installed.

yeah i would do the 31 spline... but i'm on a budget w/out a job and i just want my limited slip action back and i figure i'd at least do gear while i'm in there.
