Default What other parts would I need

Thinking really hard about putting some different cams into my 98 GT. "IF" I do this, what other parts, if any, will I need to replace along with the cams? Yes I know alot of you will say "just do a full PI swap", and believe me, I want to but I don't have the cash flow for the full swap right now. So I am starting with the cams and will work from there. So, what else will I need if I do this and what kind of cams do you suggest?

i agree with the pi swap, but if youre set on the cams, dont skip out, go on and change the springs reconmended and do a custom tune.

Modular Head Shop in conjunction with Bullet Racing Cams have developed some new grinds for our cars that are very interesting. They have some mild cams that don't require a spring change, and then more aggressive ones that work better with aftermarket springs, heads, etc.

Which ever way you go, i'd degree them, and get a good custom tune.

If you are going to get cams, I would get ones that don't require a spring change. Although if I were you I would def. get new springs. The nice thing about waiting to do the whole PI swap all together is 1. you would only have to take everything apart once and 2. you wouldn't have to waste money on springs when the new heads would already come with brand new ones.
