Default Quarter mile time good or not?

So I went to Learue(marion raceway) in Ohio yesterday and raced my 99 GT convertible 5-speed. It took me a while to get used to the road but finally managed a 14.27 in the quarter at 95.74mph with a 2.16 60 foot. Engine, tranny and rear are all stock with a 158,000miles on them the pressure plate is acting up sometimes. Only suspension mods are upr coilovers with stock struts and 350lb spring rate. Tire wise I am running a 315/35/17 summitumo at 27lb of pressure.
Oh yeah at the moment it also has a slp loudmouth catback on it.

It this a good time for a 99 convertible? Whats is stock 1/4mile time on a 99 GT Convertible full weighted?

Ben

Definately not bad. Get some gears and suspension, you'll really have some fun.

Good times. I've never ran mine other than in mexico I'm curious to as wat mine would run with current mods. I have 4.10s, LTs, o/r H, CAI, tune and drop springs.

that's a really good time, esp. for stock... my stock auto coupe ran a 14.51 at 95 with a 60' of 2.23, so you sir are very good at launching and shifting... air down the tires and you'll see a 2 flat 60' and possibly a 14 flat run!!!

Awesome how much time do you think I will drop with adding a set of strange shocks up front with rebound adjustment?

Here is a video of the run:

yep I think the ride height is set so when it launches the wheelwell openings in front and rear are about equal height.
