This is true...if you were dealing with your stock tranny. Coming outta the hole, you wont be any faster than what you were with your stock tranny. But then when second hits you'll be pulling harder...and third...and fourth. So they arent that bad of a gear to go with the tranny now that i looked at it...but i still would have gone with the 4.10's or better cus thats just me. lol good luck man. Hope you enjoy it.

that was the beauty of my plan lol, i dont have to relearn how to drive the car out of the box, so im pretty sure ill pull the same times, which until the posi broke was a slowly improving 2.0 im sure i can get a 1.97 or so out of the street tires, which is pretty good out of the box for a street set up. If i wasnt switching trannys they would be very hard to launch with.
