But congrats on ur car man, i mean yeah the money aspect sucks but i bet u love that thing
400 wheel all motor is going to cost you a LOT of money, so no...it doesnt save you to not get the blower

youre gonna need high compression out the ***, trickflow heads and stage 4 cams, p51, and i would bet you still dont hit 400....is 400rwhp even possible on a na 2v?

Its possible, as long as your ok with spinning it well past 6k.

For 400rw I would just buy a intercooled kb and get a good tune

first step is send the block to the hot tank
once its back paint it to prevent rust
buy all new bearings and put them in *cam bearing requires a special tool...machine shop can install the bearings for you*
get forged rods and pistions and have your rotating assembly balanced
set ring gap accordingly based on your FI plans, if you have any
i would buy new timing components, sans chains *they should work fine*
trickflow heads and cms stage 4 cams
p51 intake manifold, or a kenne bell

theres so many options....how much do you have to spend? you could drop $1500 in that motor and have it running or you could drop 15 grand into it and have it running...its all up to you...but for 400hp, you can leave the stock rotating assembly in it to save a lot of money, and then supercharge or spray it
Just pointing this out...

There's no cam bearings on the 4.6 OHC.

You pushrod son of a bitch...

Haha, it's not a big secret. Fuel rails, fittings, FPR, 8n Braided fuel Feed line from Summit, (Stock return) dual hp255 walbro pumps. Easy money.

An in take and an inline, have taken many people to 600rw.

According to MMR it is, rather easy actually. Full Long Block for about 7k, blower friendly compression, TF heads, Comp Cams, they quoted me at 375-400 rwhp. This is with a setup that I can SAFELY add a KB to after its in. Imagine if they upp the compression a bit more and changed the cams to prepare it for just N/A. We are talkin 400-425rwhp...thats sexy.

i've heard dual pumps alot but do you need a new tank or do you like cut a hole in your existing tank?

im pretty knowledgable about the fuel pump as i have a 255 walbro back there already,(mine crapped out) does that mean i would only need 1 more pump or is it like a special style majig?
