yeah well like we said, that guy was blowing smoke up your ***. He probably told you that to jack up the price. There isnt anyway in hell that it put out 300 to the crank. Let alone 350 after the chip.

damn dude not tryin to hate on you but maybe you should do some reading before you buy things. 2000 GT puts out 260 to the crank which turns into about 220-230 to the wheels. the metal "cold air intakes" don't do **** for our cars and are a waste. the only intake worth it is th jlt or other intakes that are made out of a plastic or similar material. what do you mean by header back exhaust? as in you put headers, midpipe and catback on or just midpipe and catback or just a catback? if its some "chip" off ebay they arent worth a damn. if its an sct programmable chip then they are good. but with the bs the guy told you about having 300 and then 350 it probably is some ebay chip if there is even one in there.

ill put it to you this way, my old setup was
full exhaust: long tube headers catles x pipe and slp loudmouth catback (which is about the best flowing exhaust setup you can have)
75mm plenum and throttle body
sct livewire tune w/ 91 octane

and my numbers were 268rwhp and 297rwtq which is about 315hp at the crank so theres no way in hell that your car is puttin down those numbers. just tryin to help you out not tryin to be a dick

your not being a dick your just being honest. The guy got *** rammed hard into believing that chip ****. I bet if he dynoed it would come in around 230 at most.

jvinson-you might have gotten lied to but o well, nothing you can do now. Best thing you can do now is browse through the 4.6 section and learn a lot. Post if you know something or have an opinion.

People learn A LOT here. Hopefully people aren't dicks anymore to you.

Im sure if there was a chip that made that much improvement every mustang owner would have one and the thread would be sticky by now. I'm a newbie as well, and have learned a TON for the forums, best advice is to throw up a question for best tuner or chip and the guys will give ya positive feed back. They haven't left me hanging! good luck

Gears, and if you want to do the hassle do headers, depending on what your goals are there are a ton of different ways to go.

I would say throw the bottle at it, but from some of your post so far I would not even go anywhere near the stuff!
