If you are reffering to my thread I mentioned in there that you must cover the COP's I killed one of mine this way. Water gets in and ruins them

thats weird! All I did was cover the alternator with a plastic bag and the CAI with the stock plastic cover and NOTHING happened. I left the engoine runnin while I was washing the engine though; something I did different. The RPM's went alittle crazy but I didn't give out or anything. Dang, I hope everything is okay! GOODLUCK

im going to check my car out in the morning when i wake up... ill start it up and drive.. if its still missing, ill pull the plugs and spray air in them.. if this still fails, i guess ill need to buy COP's right? or do i need to take out every single spark plug and check them one by one??

no water even got into the spark plug area.. nothing went past the top seal of the coil from what i saw.. WTFFFFFFFF

ive washed my motor like this alot and never covered anything up and have never had a problem. just avoid electrical areas with the water and like said above, never spray a hot motor!

pull them off and check for water if you haven't already. let them sit disconnected for about 10 minutes in the sun, then reconnect and try it out...
