Gears Are In
Well I finally installed my gears. They were FRPP 4.30s. Did the install with a buddy of mine from the forums, and it actually wasnt hard at all. It was more tedious and all. From driving the car so far I can feel a difference but I obviously haven't jumped on it yet. There is a very slight whine when decelerating, but you really have to listen for it.

I wish I went 4.30s instead of 4.10s.

You really paid $280ish for FRPP 4.30's when you probably could have gotten them from Motive or something for closer to $230??? I mean i got FRPP 4.10's for $130. What finish were your gears??? Because my 4.10's were like polished and they did not install like typical FRPP gears and they whine a slight bit like you said on the decel. I think FRPP are making sucky gears now. The pinion gear just slid onto the bearing...that is supposed to be pressed on and they didnt come with a pinion nut which my mechanic said that they always used to come with. So i think that FRPP is starting to skimp out on their stuff.
P.s. ^^^AGREED 10000000% but im switching back to 3.73's when i do my rear end to prepare for boost. :/ so wont be as fun without the boost but once the turbo is in...it'll be just fine

I should have just kept the 410's so now i also will be getting 430's since i only use the car to commute 6 days a month now.The argument of going with 410's over the 430's if you drive on the highway is an invalid argument since the gas milage will not even be noticeable, although a 2v car is different.
