If you must buy mods so you can race this guy...

I would say a 100-125 shot of nitrous and some nice sticky tires. There are quite a few used nitrous kits for sale on the forums here so you could get a very good deal on one. Then with the money left over, but a STS.

What kind of race are you wanting to do? Dig or roll?

yea we have already agreed on doin it at a track near my town so it would be from a dig. i also wanna stay away from nitrous untill i build the engine

whether you go with an s/c or nitrous, youre still going to have to get a tune.

Tough one , evo's are beast , even with crappy drivers. Should be interesting, Go to the track and race , let us know who one.

Just a thought.

The evo is already gonna pretty much destroy you. Now you said you got all winter long to build your car. even if you do nos and a tune, whats to say the guy in the evo doesn't spend all winter upgrading his car lol
