I have a 89 ranger thats my "primary" vehicle on my insurance, but i put about 4000 miles on each of them in a year. the ranger is used more in the winter obviously. I pay 800 a year for both, when i added my ranger to the polocy it didnt go up at all because the mustang went down in price as a 2nd car.
The thing i use the most tho is my fz1, i get about 40 mpg and it makes the stang feel slow.

i live in a college town, so im basically able to walk anywhere i want to go. if i have to drive somewhere, my roommate has a jeep that he lets me drive.
In the winter my car is garaged and covered. We basically share the jeep at that point with both of us splitting gas.
if i were to get another car for a DD, it would probably be a nissan maxima. i just don't think i could be happy in a ballsless 4 banger.

My beater is a 1992 Honda Accord. Got it for 1800 bux. It has 188,000 miles but runs good. Leaks a bit of oil here and there but for the winter it does its job! Its kinda fun to toy with it hear and there and do my own work to it. The honda and my mustang only runs me $102 a month! It also helps i have a record clean as a virgins honeypot lol. Looking for a sticker that says "my other car is a ford mustang"!

There are many people with a second car. I am planning on building another car soon, so I don't beat on my Mustang too much.
The only problem with driving a Honda or Nissan every day, is when I rumble right by you in my Mustang- you're going to be hating that little econobox. Life goes by quick- just drive something you enjoy. If high revving VTEC is your thing- that's fine- just don't be foolish about it.
