well now i am confused!!!
i just went on the Mac website and they say that you need the prochamber with the long tube headers

Like already stated the ProChamber will not bolt up to LT's but after owning a Prochamber I don't ever plan on owning anything but that for a mid pipe. Another option is to have your Prochamber modified to bolt up to the TL's

nothing wrong with the stock manifolds..... just that i thought that long tube headers would increase performance and give it a meaner sound. am i wrong?

No your right about the LT's but you where considering shorties and I personally see no point in doing shorties. That is why I asked what is wrong with stockers.

I agree totally with your motto, however..... i really wanted to keep my prochamber because it is supposed to be the best midpipe. and i do want the long tubes. hmmmm! what to do?

Long Tubes + shorty mid = better sound and power
Shortie Headers + Prochamber= worse sound and power

WTF? I have a MAC prochamber and MAC LT... they fit.
