Default Removing spoiler

i hvae an 00 gt with they v6 spoiler and i would like to take it off just dont know how to

my 2002 had some rubber plugs underneath hiding the 8mm? bolts. take those off and then get a hair dryer and heat up the sticky pad holding on the wing. then take some fishing lines and "saw" through the gummy stuff. the trunk will be blemished tho so beware. you will also need some plugs to cover the holes left on your trunk.

btw its not a V6 wing.

i went to Home Depot for mine. they are just some plastic plugs i think are 3/8" or bigger i dont remember. the ones i got are black which matched my car. you might wana paint them to match your car tho

they are 10 mm nuts in case it REALLY matters...

autozone has some good stuff to use for touch-up paint. if its a stock color they got it. (works good for ssmall spots)
