Default Blacked out my tailights and interior

when i got my car the P.O. had painted the interior pannels body colored yellow, and had ricer chrome lights. also for everything i used Krylon gloss or Satin black (has adjustable nozzle )

to do the tail lights i took them off the car took them apart as much as i could and put them in the oven for 200* for 8mins. when we took them out seperated the clips and removed the lens while the glue was hot. i dont have pics of every step but if i can figure it out anyone can haha.

BEFORE:

in the oven

painted before goin back in the oven.

my buddy holding the light together till the glue hardens( love the mittens haha)

FINISHED:

for the interior the hardest thing was taking out the damn headunits. i decided to make remover instead of buying some from an audioshop. used bronze sticks and bent them in a "U" shape. it was a PITA but got them out eventually. most of the interior just pops off with a flathead and there are only a few screws. i plan on gettin rid of the yellow inside peice by peice so it's not done yet. new gauges, pedals, and dying the Corbeau seats.

Before

taking out the radio

Painting

FINISHED, muuuch cleaner look.

For sure starting to look better! I think you MAY could salvage those lights with some tint or nightshades on the outside of them. But you should be able to get them cheap on ebay for OEM and then tint them. Interior is MUCH improved.

The tail lights should have just been trashed for some saleen tail lights if thats what you were looking for because they are kinda still ricer. Sorry. but they do look better man.

Looks like you're making moves in the right direction. Good work so far.

Looks good. The interior is 100x better now. The seats are a perfect offset in color. Now give the seats a bath, it looks like they're pretty dirty.

I'm not a fan of the tail lights still but I'll hold off final judgment till they are tinted.
