Default how "hard" should my clutch pedal be to press in?

just finished meeting up w/ the mustang guys at UNCC and found out that my clutch (compared to the three other cars I sat in) is EASYYYYYYYYYYYYY to push in compared to the others.

I mean, I sat in a 03, 04 mach 1, the clutch was almost physicaly "hard" to press in, I sat in a 2000 GT, the clutch was HARD to press in, and i sat in another like 01 or 02 gt and the same thing, the clutch was HARD to press in. Why is my clutch so easy? I dont think its bad... I dont have any problems shifting and it doesn't "slip" or anything. Do I just have a random soft clutch or whats going on?

dude, we are talking "HONDA" easy compared to the 3 other cars I sat in. the 00 I sat in I just asked is a stock clutch. the 04 mach is a stock clutch as well. I bought my car used w/ 34k miles. (doubt it has a new clutch in it)

wouldn't a aftermarket quadrant make his clutch feel lighter?

i have an aftermarket quadrant and it had no effect on how heavy my clutch was....

my clutch is f*ckin heavy... i cant stand it sometimes, but other times i like it... it's comparable to my friends stage 3ish clutch or w/e in his STI... its prettty damn heavy

My clutch is easy. I sat in my friend's 04 GT and his clutch was way different than mine and it grabbed lower and was a lot heavier. So i have one of these clutches too. Its a lot nicer but it always makes me think that it doesnt hold as much as theirs because its so light. My friend is spraying a 125 shot on a stock clutch and his clutch is one of the heavier ones ive tried and its holding it just fine and mine is starting to slip now with 50,000 miles on it and no spray. So i have no idea whats going on with that.

I think my clutch is perfect. It takes a little muscle to hold it in but isn't super easy to press down. As long as you aren't having problems and it isn't slipping, I wouldn't worry about it. Or you could buy a Stage 3 clutch
