drone with no cats?
 

for anyone who has this on their car:

got a 04 GT with stock 2 front cats, removed rear cats, and 2 magnaflow oval mufflers(dont know exact part number, i bought the car like this)

i was thinking, cuz whoever did the cat/pipe swap did a ****ty job, would be to get a whole new front section done from manifolds to mufflers with no cats and just nuts for front 02 sensors(rears are turned off with a Diablo tune)

as it is now, there is like no drone in the car and i LOVE that ahah, but i wouldnt mind having the car a little louder but still dont want drone.

soo i figure the cheapest rout for more sound would be catless front section(with either an X or H, whatever ones gives less drone) but worried might be the annoying drone with no cats

OR

new high flow cats to replace the stock ones as well as piping to mufflers


just looking for opinions of people who has this setup or something very similar.

just buy a O/R X or H and put it on. Dont try to fab one cuz they always come out F'd up.(at lease all the ones i have seen)

well it has an H now.....isnt that factory? but the striahgt pipe looks shotty and like ass so i was going to have it redone.

but yes if i did an X i would buy it off ebay and have it put in. i did that with my Mark 8.

it was like $25 each for those X's off ebay.

hows the PYPES catless xpipe work from Brenspeed? found it on there for $180 free shipping and could put it on in the driveway. and from every X pipe setup i see on stangs, the X's i bought for the lincoln won't seem to fit too good
