Just FYI, just got off the phone with MMR, and they are indeed for knock sensors. All you have to do is cut/grind them down if they are in the way.

I had beleived you nerd, but i posted this before PMing you...

So for future reference, if you buy a new casting/ect... to build up and are running a KB, you'll have to grind these off for it to fit right.

Just bring the damn thing over to the house, I have a ton of carbides now so we can cut it all out nice and clean and keep any shavings from getting into the engine.

Not quite sure yet, but i'm thinking a grinder. I wont have to grind them all the way down though. just enough where the blower manifold will seat properly on the heads. Its going to be a pain in the @ss though....
