Is there a way I can find out what size my rims are, without taking the tire off and measureing them?

The stock '02 Bullits are going to be 8" wide, so you are stuck with 245's. Maybe squeeze a set of 255's by Nitto or someone known for making "thin" tires. Anything more than that is an incorrect fit and don't recommend it.

Thanks for the help guys. I like the look of the wider tire out back, but I don't want to sacrifice safety or performance just for looks

Just get bigger wheels! You won't regret it. Check out American Muscle they have some cool stuff.

I don't understand what the big deal is I have 275's on the rear on stock 00 GT wheels. I know 2 other people personally that have done so and other people on this forum have done the same as well.

I mounted the tires and they went on no problem.

I ran a few sets of 275s on my bullits, whitefox gt did the same on his 98 cobra. And I have 275s on my 15x8 welds... You'll be FINE

I've got 275's on my stock bullits too with no problems. Hardly any bulge as well. I'll put up a picture tomorrow if you'd like to see what it looks like

I once drove high, but didn't crash
I raced a guy on the highway once and didn't kill anyone
I drove without a seatbelt for many years, I was fine

Yeah, I've run 275 on my stock 17x8 rims for a few years now. No problems at all. I finally spent the $$ and upgraded to 17x10 w/ 315's in the rear.
