Yeah, i've seen that before. That does seem exceptionally fast for basically just E-85, heads, and 15 lbs. of boost.

Well its fully built...

http://www.e85mustangs.com/rides.html

Theres the page. He is running 660rwhp so 10.57 is about on par for that id say. But yea, i think its a pretty nice setup. He should definitely switch to a front mount intercooler though. Might help some...maybe not since he is using ethanol.

Nice Mustang! I really like that show and I think I did see it when it aired originally. 660rwhp with E85 isn't too bad.

I've been on the E85 kick for a few years now, it's just seems that unless it's a track only car, E85 isn't the miracle fuel everyone thought it was. Although there is a 15-20% increase in power, you need 20% more fuel at idle and 40-50% at WOT. So although it's cheaper, you'll spend more time at the pump. To add to that, there are no aftermarket systems (That I know of) that control burn & flow usage from going back & forth between fuels. (Like new vehicles) And the difference between summer and winter E85 is big enough that two separate tunes would need to be used.

My guess is that car has good heads, a CR on the high side, good weight reduction, a ***** out tune (in comparison anyway) and driver mod. But as stated above, for his power level he is right where he should be... if not a little slow.

Also, as sxynerd said... I thought about e-85 for about two days... but until we run out of dinosaur syrup, fugg it.
