By the way you would probably hit 13.70s at best.
13.70s "at best" for a bolt on gt? or am i not reading your post right...?

dimebag ran 13.7 bone stock, and jayc was running in the high 12s with a bolt on gt if i remember right

i ran 12.8 with my 3.73's and bolt ons... it comes down to driving. its hard to say what you "should" run because even if the only variable in the run is shift speed it could be a tenths on your time. Then when you ad the other stuff it can change so much. shift point, how you launch, power shifting, weather... the list goes on and on. my run was at atco nj with good air and elevation but its still disappointing to see so many stangs go so slow because of bad driving. there should be more 2v's in the 12's.

Also depends on 5spd vs auto. The best I can manage at MIR is a 14.06. But that is also high humidity. I busted that run when it was cool out but it was high humidity since it was gonna rain at any second. I wish I could get into the 13's *runs away crying*.

OK, so your 5.7 liter 300+ horsepower ls1 could match the times of my bolt on 260hp 2v with the same 60ft?

because thats what you just said, my car with a 2.0 went 13.2s..

Last 3 times my car 60ft 1.6 it went 12+mph and ran in the 11.7 11.8 11.9 range, skipping 3rd gear.. Check the link in my sig if you dont believe me...

and currently, my car with the boost turned all the way down, traps 128 mph... and on mid boost makes enough power to burn down the drag radials at 110 120mph...

BBK CAI, Pullies, TB/Plenum, O/R H, Flowmaster 40's, Radical Racing Dyno Tune, Spec Stage 2+ Clutch, Aluminum Driveshaft, 31 Spline Rear with 3.73's, Caster Camber Plates, H&R Lowering Springs, KYB AGX Shocks, Adj Upper/Lower Control Arms w/ Spherical Bushings, QA1 Struts w/ UPR Coil Overs. For that run I didn't have 31 spline or struts and coil overs. It was with my black rims and nitto's.

I only got to the track once this year in middle of summer. Schools been kicking my ***, also had to buy a new computer, cs4, and fcp studio... so been working a lot. It's sad to say the car has had maybe 40 miles put on it in the last 3 months. As much as it sucks that I don't have the time to drive it right now, its nice knowing its just sitting clean in the garage.

Yes I remember them running that as well, but I meant with a bone stock car. And we all know dimebag is god with his car haha. You are most likely picking up about 3 tenths from 3.73s (let's assume it's auto). You kind of have to do it as a pass with stock gears and then change them and go back the same day, because weather will most likely be different on a different day.

VHT or pimp juice really helps on your 60' might i add.... a lot of these times are varied because different tracks have different preps on different days.
