Yeah it gives you an idea, but acceleration is not constant, especially when it comes to boost. Even the calculator has a disclaimer stating this. But good job, gives you and idea.

that is a good point but with added features such as traction control that came in later model mustangs helps out alot. i have driven a 99-04 generation and an 05-09 generation and they handle muuchh better than mine does. my moms 06 GT takes off the line faster than any mustang i have ever driven. in fact i have lost a few races due to burning through gears sitting still at the line while the other car takes off like its got slicks. but it is fun to roast em with ease at times!

Traction control makes you slower. .. your moms 06 feels fast because its the fastest GT produced to date.

Yea, 05+ GT's run like 5.0 0-60's...pretty fast for just a GT.
