Default PI Swap and Supercharger

I have a 98 GT W/the PI Heads and Intake.

Now I want to run a blower.So do I find a blower for a
PI motor?Or non PI motor?

I found a guy locally who has a Procharger on his 2000 GT he wants
to sell.Just not sure if it will fit?

Thanks

It depends on the timing cover you have, since you just swapped heads and intake, I assume you're still using the coilpack setup, in which case you need a kit for the 96-98 gt. The brackets are different to accomodate the coilpacks. If you get the other guys kit all you will have to do is buy a bracket kit for a 96-98 gt.

Also be advised that your compression ratio is higher than normal so some kind of intercooling is advised

It looks like you pretty much have the same setup
I do.

How do you like the Procharger?
Any dyno numbers?

Where would I buy the bracket for the SC?

Thanks

If you dont like the idea of changing the oil in the supercharger, I would look into a vortech kit. Vortech kits use the oil form the motor so all you have to do to change the oil in the blower is change the oil in your motor. Its just something to think about.

if you have a safe tune and intercool it compression isn't such a big deal. You'll make more power because of the compression ratio if its done right. I've been looking into a vortech kit my self, but i would advise you to look into the "1500" dollar kit you could buy when you buy everything but the head unit new and the head unit used

^this is what I'll be doing one day

I definitly like the procharger, I made 389rwhp/356rwtq with 8psi pulley and 11* total timing on 93, and 409rwhp and 380rwtq on 110 and 17.5* total timing. I bought my bracket kit from procharger.
