Default Just got a new project.

I will be hanging out in the classic section now, I'll be over here now and then.
We just got a '65 coupe.

We plan on trying to get it at Shelby specs if we can on this one. This started as a I6 going to a V8.
I'm in the middle of tearing down the suspension now so I can start cleaning up the inside fender wells before winter hits.

any bad rust? im sure there is some rust but that would be great to start with a decent car lol.

Not too bad, I have had and seen worse. It needs a new cowl ,both front short floors, qtrs, and one rocker. but over all it is a very solid car in the shock towers and frame rails.

I hear you on the sickness!!
The buddy I got the car from said the same thing.
I have no room or big enough compressor to sand blast it without the wife getting mad because of the mess. I'll just hit it with a sander.
