Default Quarter-Mile Times

So does anyone think High 11's are possible out of Fresh Rebuilt 2V, Headers, 4.10's, Long tubes w/ Full exhaust. and 150 Shot WET? I'm building my engine right now and i'm hopin this will be enough for now with my budget. OH and CAI and 75mm throttle body. 29lb injectors! (all this running drag Radials)

umm no

What you have sounds like low 12s. You did not list the suspension, tires, other supporting mods to back 11s in my eyes. A lot will depend on how good of a driver you are. But if you are good and conditions are favorable (you get traction) then I think you could crack the 11s no problem.

I am running full stock suspension that I know of with Nitto DR's. I made back to back 13.81 Passes last summer. Spun through 1st and part of second. was running 3.27's without spray or headers on 130000 miles at the time. Those passes were on 255/45/17 Street tires. Dont remember which tire exactly though. My car will be back with the fresh engine this weekend and im just anxious on how well it will run

I run Nitto dr's with a 100 shot (mods in sig) and stock suspension. There is no way i'll touch 11's with this setup. It's not so much the lack of power you'd have (a 150 shot would definantly get you in the 11's) as it is stock suspension and Nittos. At minumum you'll need a stickier tire.

With the right tires and suspension, and depending on what's in this built 2V (heads, cams, compression ratio) I think you should be able to run low 11s if you drive it. If you plan on alot of drag racing, get solid bushing control arms.

I agree with JayC. The right wheel/tire combo will get you into the 11's. You may not even need a 150 shot. I've done it with a 125 shot. Honestly, if you couldn't run 11's with the 150 shot I would think something was wrong.

My best is an 11.78 @ 116 with the mods here... https://mustangforums.com/forum/gara...tim2002gt.html

I agree mysilverado ran an 11.9 on a 150 shot with bolt ons and a cam. A bit more power then a 4.6 but a bit more weight.

A perfect launch never hurts either.
