Default Which hurst shifter to use?

I was looking at my options for the Hurst Shifters and found that they offer two different ones for my 99gt with a t-45.

Hurst Shifters 3915071 - Hurst Billet/Plus SST Shifters

Hurst Shifters 3915033 - Hurst Billet/Plus Shifters

I am debating which one would be the better one to get. Is the only difference shift length between the gears?

Thanks,
Ben

I believe the only difference is the handle. The one you pick depends upon whether you want the boot to cover the handle or the handle to show. If you pick the Hurst Billet/Plus SST Shifter don't buy the one you see on the internet. It has a straight handle. Go to a Ford dealership and buy the one offered in the Ford Racing Performance Products catalog. The shifter handle is bent enough for you to use your cup holders.

If I had any idea how to post a picture I would. The best I can do is to post this link to my garage.

I have the normal one... or the covered one. It works but I've never driven a mustang with anything else... so I don't have much to compare it to.

I'm old school. I wanted the chrome handle to show with the name Hurst on the side.

I have the billet/plus which I use with the stock factory handle. I had to get an adaptor which Steeda sells which allows it to bolt right up. I love it. I get the factory height of the shifter for easier reach yet a throw as short as my old MGW had.
