Default Nj guys.

Okay well im looking for a local shop thatll install my gears. I live in central Nj. I have the gears and the bearings and everything i just need them to install it. Does anyone know of any shops? And maybe some prices?

I live in central jersey as well, but I installed my own gears. Everyplace around here was way too much money and installing them really isn't that hard. Me and my buddy had it done in about 6 hours or so. But if you want a shop to do it, there is JDM engineering and big daddy performance in the area

I can do all the mechanical work the only thing i dont wanna mess up is the back lash shimming.

I can give you a hand with the shimming if you want. Thats one of the easier parts of the whole thing as long as you can read the dial indicator.

Whats like the harder parts of it than? Cause ive looked at install write ups and everything else seems to just be taking parts off?

Getting the bearings on and off, and the races. The preload is also a PITA, as tightening down the pinion nut takes a ton of force. As long as you can get all the tools needed it isn't too bad.
