where can you even purchase a centerforce??

my buddy has one in his 00 GT and i LOVE it.. it's awesome..

i was thinking about going spec stage 2 myself, but i have heard both good AND bad things about spec... i just like the idea that AM carries them and i can get 6% off.. but for a clutch, i may just spend the extra money and get a centerforce if i can find one...

Might not be the best price but i didnt shop it. This is where i would buy my clutch from if/when i buy it. And i would be getting a centerforce as well as they are awesome clutches from what ive read and felt. Friend had one in his 00GT and it was a dream to drive!!! And you could dump that thing and it would just never slip...ever. Even on the 125 shot.

i have heard of a clutch alignment tool which basicly holds everything inline when you bolt it up it mates with the splines. but never heard of a clutch adjustment tool I have done several clutches from t-5 to a tr 3650 and even a buddies honda and usually when you buy a clutch kit it comes with the alignment tool

A lot of my friends have gone with spec clutches... just a uniform level of crap.

One went out of the norm and bought a Centerforce Dual Friction... it was EXTREMELY nice. Stock-like feel, nice smooth engagement, made the car much nicer to drive... Unfortunately if you go price them out, a CF DF is like 2x the price of a comparable spec clutch. Spec = cheap, you do get what you pay for though.

yes - he was the one who talked me into my purchase if it could handle his 550 rwhp and track abuse it was certainly going to handle my 450 rwhp with no track...

It is an excellent clutch holds awesome and great pedal feel.

I cant stand how the CF DF is so damn expensive.. But what do your friends think about their specs? i have heard both good things and bad about spec... Nothing but good about centerforce
