Default 2004 GT Clutch Kit Question?

Hi I have a 2004 GT, and my pilot bearing I believe is wearing out, well I'm not really sure its just what I was told at a local shop. Anyways I was told that it is a good thing to go ahead and replace my clutch and several other things since I'm going to have to take my tranny out anyways, and I decided to go ahead and purchase the SPEC stg. 1 Clutch Kit, and my concern right now is that I've been told by several people that I "NEED" to purchase the clutch adjuster kit?? Because if I dont I would burn my new clutch?? Is this true or just something recomended? Any help with this is realy appreciated, let me know if you have any questions and or suggestions on what to do....Thanks!

I dont have any mods right now except for 3.73 gears but I am planning adding most of the bolt on mods pretty soon and I'm considering going further with this car, so I might as well go with Stg 2, Thanks for the advice

I was told that with a stock tranny, a Stage 2 clutch would be too much for it and if you ever hooked real hard you could blow your tranny up nicely. So with knowing that, I would go stage 1 or go with a King Cobra clutch.

^^^Agree with lizzy. Centerforce clutches are awesome. Thats the clutch that will be going in my car soon hopefully. but they are a tad bit expensive though. but they are great clutches from what ive heard.
