Default New tires

Just wanting to see what others in the mustang community are putting on their stangs. Im looking for a good all season tire for 245 45 r17. I recently put a turbo and I loose traction like crazy plus my tires right now are about as bad as I ever had. Usually dont let tires get that bad before I cahnge so any input on what you guys recommend would be great. Oh so far ive seen goodyear gt's. Yokahoma forgot which ones but they were a/s. Aslo a/s bfgoodrich and herd the best from looking around where michelins but expensive.

Falken rt615's!! best tires for street and price. they heat up a little hotter then id like on the track but are very good street tires.

With the power your making I would definitely be thinking about wider tires plus having a sticky summer tire and a cold weather/winter tire.

You are not going to like me, Steve... but THIS is the first flaw in your thinking and THIS is what makes your thinking flawed. You have spent big money on your ride to make it fast and you want to go cheap on tires?????

Spend some money and buy tires WORTHY of your power numbers.

Jazzer is gonna hear it from Stevo

put it this way too. with out sticky/good tires your car wont go any where. if you have all that power might as well get some good rubber to put the power to the road...

Sounds like you need some all around good tires. The best overall performance tire that i can suggest to you right now is NT555's. Ive driven through snow and rain and everything and they perform great. They are a nice compromise to performance for overall good performance in all seasons, and the ones i have are 245/285 widths.

Im not a fan of Nittos thats just my opinion. My friend has BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDW's on his 01 GT and those are awesome tires. I would look into those. He can hook up in a straight line and corner. They are pretty expensive but you get what you pay for.

nitto 555 on the front and nitto 555dr on the back. if you dont plan on getting wider wheels put a 275/40 17 on the rear at least itll give ya a little more

If you are running an 8" wheel, please do not install a 275 on them. This is a poor fit and a waste of a wider tire. I like the Nitto 555R's for your case as they are very sticky, which you need, and have a softer sidewall so you can better hook up on launch.

426rwhp and you want to run an all season 245 tire? I wouldn't even put that tire on my car.
