??? before or during launch is the car near the ground? If before, you obviously have the car too low, if during then you need to check your pinion angle and probably run a stiffer rear spring and/or an airbag.

You don't want a bunch of drama on launch (squating, twisting, etc) you want it to plant the tires and go. Even though the 28's are tucked with a 5.5" bs you can see I would still have room with a 4.5"

this is too much twisting

If he's not trying to take your money or pawn off some bent wheels then that's one hell of a deal! I can hosetly say that I've NEVER seen them THAT cheap!!! Just be careful.
What's your revlimiter set to and what do you plan on your car trapping? I don't know if I've asked you this or not before but what part of La. are you from?
Well, I think I will be trapping around 115 or so when I go intercooled and put the new clutch in. I went to the track right after I put the S/C on this summer and trapped 110 and was on the rev limiter (rev limiter set to stock level). And that was on a super rich tune (was 10.0:1 during WOT) and my clutch was slipping pretty bad.

Yea I was gonna check some more on the wheels being they are so cheap, was just wondering if they would even work.

Oh, and I'm in the Baton Rouge area, I live in Brusly, right across the river from LSU

I sold mine (15x8 5.5"bs)with the 28" slicks to a guy in BR, I don't think he used them. He's on moddedmustangs.com his screen name is bakerfx4 he may be looking to get rid of them. BTW I sold them for $275 with lugs, washers, centercaps, slicks mounted and balanced.
I'd suggest just bumping up your revlimiter a couple hundred, unless you really want 28's.
