Thumbs down Frame-twisting torque/60ft times?

Generally speaking, for both a coupe and convertible, what kind of 60 ft times are capable of twisting the frame on each? How about rwtrq?

This is not so much a HP/T issue, as traction.

If one were to have 1000 RWHP and A/S radials, he/she would just spin them 'til they caught on fire I understand your question though, so ALWAYS recommend good frame support on pre-S197 Stangs looking for mods.

1.6's or better with sfc but at that point it'd be stupid to not have a 8 point or better. Which helps with rigidity. Verts will be anything in the 1.9 range.

These are just guesses from racing my own car and watching others for so long.

I cut a handful of 1.4x's and alot of 1.5x's and I have the slightest wrinkle in the drivers quarter panel right above the tire. Also, my driver's door is a little weird. It won't stay open even when on flat ground, but the other door will?

Would full length sub frame connectors welded in help out any for a convertible? I would like to get some really sticky tires and just try a high 1.7x sixty foot time, but not if my frame is going to flex a lot.

Subframe connectors are about all you can do except for extreme "race car" type mods like cage and antiroll.

I wouldn't be scared AT ALL to do 1.7's with a good full length SFC.

Yep, SFC's are pretty much the universal chassis support that most people run pretty quick 60fts with.
